MK swap postal!!/more photos post 13

All of the packages were mailed today. I have the DC numbers for everyone who requested it, but I'd rather not post them all. If you need it, I have it in a safe place and I can pm it. Please post when you have received your package.

Please read through the paragraphs below and carefully check your bags when they come in. A couple of the swappers addressed bags to individuals -- I tried to catch that, but I don't think I caught them all. If you have a bag that has someone else's name on it -- do not worry about it. All of the pieces were the same. You do not need to exchange the item.

Updates:
There were some changes to some groups. Please know that I did the best I could. Please look at the groups listed below to see the changes. Except for myself and SUsieStone, no one got their own duplicate items back. If a spot was dropped from a group, I switched your extra piece with a different one to avoid getting your own extra piece back. Usually it was a piece from the same topic -- that is a miscellaneous piece from Group A was most likely still a Fantasyland piece. I did this with every group I could. Because of the pressure of the postal rate increase, I made the decision myself rather that ask everyone their preferences -- it was the most expedient way to handle it.

I want to let you all know that Notes4thehearts groups were dropped because there was a mixup in the mailing of the package - -the wrong things were sent. I believe she will be using her pieces for the surprise swap.

If you mailed in a group of 6, you should receive back a group of 6 with no duplicates. I think this will be more clear when you can open your package to check.

The exceptions are:
Group K -- Missesdisney will mail her spectromagic pieces to you with the Eat swap. The bag was misplaced.

Group O -- Kat will mail to you directly -- her bag was left out of the box


Some of you sent in 6 items for the groups of 5 -- I was able to swap out those extra pieces as well.

I had the world's greatest and possibly the only happy and nice postal clerk -- he let me take trips to the car while he was working on it. It took 1+ hour for him to ring it all up -- the total was $188 and many people had sent stamps. I went to the postal distribution center, so it should get there a littler faster than normal -- really Mickster, you should have yours tomorrow.

Wow that is a lot of packages- I am amazed you were able to get them all off. I just learned from my post office with my last swap that if I ring the door in the back they will give me a cart to use and then once it is filled I can ring the bell again and they will bring it in. Then I can go stand in line and they will ring me up at my turn.

My box arrived yesterday while at WDW. When we got home last night, opening it and looking at everything was the first thing I did. Wonderful work everyone!!!!

I received my package!!! How exciting it is to come home and see that! I can't believe how much stuff I got. I am already signed up for two more swaps, so I will probably end up with enough to do my album for my next trip! I love the idea of having everything already before I even take the trip!
