Oh my!! I was just replying to an email from a friend of mine where she was asking if I was already packed for our upcoming WDW trip. She had asked if my DS's school/teacher were ok with us taking him out next week and I said that they were.

I started mentioning the places that I will use as pseudo-classrooms where I can shove science down my DS's throat - Mission Space, The Living Seas and Interventions. I actually typed out Interventions instead of Innoventions. Doh!

I have also caught myself telling my DS "noted" when responding to the same question for the fifth plus time from him.

Guess these were DIS-ism moments.

I find I have been using abbreviations that no one else gets like DBF in my emails!!

I started calling it Interventions from the first time I heard it (mainly as a joke) and now I can't ever think of the right world...

I did it to myself, I'm such a dork! Now I just say it was an inside joke and apologize...(because I'm always corrected!)

I've spent the better part of the last couple of weeks catching up on the podcasts - bittersweet! - and today found myself saying in a staff meeting: "they can't hit ya!"

Love ya Bawb!

I've found myself using "They can't hit ya" a lot recently, too. It's just such a simple statement that conveys multiple messages.

I've said at least once (and thought but caught myself probably a lot more times): "It's soda!"
