Hi, sorry but I cannot help with picking up from POR. However, we have used Alamo, Hertz and Dollar in the past and all have been very good. For me, I would say that Dollar just about edges the other two on the cars they use, albeit for our trip in Nov I think we'll use Hertz as they are cheaper than everyone else for the car we want.

I would say, with the exception of Hertz possibly, do not book direct with the company but use an intermediary. There are many to choose from. We've used Airline Network and usrentacar in the past and have had no issues with either of them.

Disney have a car care center - go to the front desk at the resort and they'll sort it out for you. They will pick you up at POR and take you to pick up the car (near Magic Kingdom). I don't know how much it will cost at Disney - we've pre-booked 16 days for an intermediate car through usrentacar.co.uk with Budget to pickup at Orlando International. For the all inclusive insurance, extra driver and tank of petrol the cost is £248. We've found the car useful within WDW when we've had an early ADR at another hotel or Park. If you are staying on-site you get free parking at the Theme Parks. It is sometimes useful to have your own car if you've leaving at a busy time, also useful for shopping trips!
