Leaving in 3 days!! Trip anxiety!!!

I think I'm more excited than my kids (DS2/DS5). Every day I tell them in the morning "you know what?..WE'RE GOING TO DISNEYWORLD IN (BLANK) DAYS!!!!"

I just got the suitcases down, my ultimate packing list sitting in the bathroom and extra copy by the nightstand being neatly highlighted off as items set aside. I have 1 more trip to the store to get the water camera I forgot today :rolleyes: . Clothes being set aside. Bag full of pre-1982 copper pennies freshly soaked in tobasco and polished by hand w/ copper polish :rolleyes1 ...WHAT??? Yes I'm a little ocd (on somethings).

ADR's checked and rechecked, POly photoshoot just booked, searching photogalleries for "not to miss" photo shots, cleaned wallet, went to the bank, stopped the mail, informed police.

Yet I still feel like I;m missing something :lmao:

Anyone else get pre-trip anxiety?

I figure I can relax once I get there. DH laughs at me. I;m so obsessed w/ planning before but once we're there he asks "So what's the plan? It's 10:43..what does the list say?" But really I so don;t care once we're there!

You are SO on top of this!! It sounds like you could almost sit back and watch the clock tick off your departure time.

Yes, I'm feeling the anxiety, too. Mine comes from all the stuff to do before we leave ONE WEEK FROM TODAY!!!!!! You know, school work/activities, the last softball game for DD15 (which leads also to the championship tournament that will be played as well), end-of-the-year gymnastics show for DD7, meetings for me, make arrangements with the dogsitter, Mother's Day gatherings, the list goes on. No kidding, I'm trying to figure out when I'll have time to get the car ready (oil change, wash), clean the house (This is where I get anal. The house has to be spotless before we leave.), and pack. :confused3 It's true I could be doing some of that now, instead of daydreaming here about the trip. I just know, though, that if I sweep the floor now, it'll only need to be done AGAIN before next Friday!;)

I can relate to that " I have so much to do, I know I'll forget something excitement"!! Trip anxiety is a good thing though, enjoy the moment!:cloud9:
