there is a big age gap here because Hawaii has a mandatory 4 month quarantine on dogs.

your welcome, just wanted you to know you aren't alone in your grief. It took me 3 years to start this album.

I've managed a mini album including lots of my dogs but haven't managed any actual pages yet. I still miss them every day.

You are not alone. I did a book for my sweet Tobey after he died. He was so young and his death really shook me. He was the first pet that was "mine" that died. I lost many pets as a kid (4 dogs, 4 birds, and tons of gerbils, dam their life span) but they were still not "mine". Here are the first and last pages of his memory book.

freaky isn't it. Have you eve seen pics of DH? I don't remember. Of course these pics are 15 years old too.

Not that you can see it well, but the dog has his head on the headrest of the seat.

What a wonderful album, Buffy.

TinkerBean - I'm so sorry to hear about your loss. I must have missed that somehow. :grouphug:

What a great tribute to Popcorn, Buffy! I did the same for my chocolate lab who lived to be 17. Making her book was tough, but a necessary part of my grief process.

Our current pups have pink/white gingham books that I keep more current than the human family books. :rolleyes1

Tinkerbean - I'm sorry for your loss, too. They sure are part of the family, aren't they? :grouphug:

And here I was going to ask Buffy what is Ryan ;) doing driving your car? He is such a carbon copy of your DH.

Wonderful tributes to beloved family members.

thanks, he was very pretty. His coat was really dark for a Golden.

You'll get around to do Yoda's book when you are ready. Like I said, it took me 3 years before I could even look at his pics without crying. I cried through the whole process of the first and last pages.

I have started on Sultan's album- I have the first page done and pictures printed for a couple of other layouts. I have lots of stuff thanks to my SS and some very sweet people who sent me items as hostess gifts or RAKs. I am really looking forward to doing some layouts of this past weekend. We took Sultan to the Disney Kennel this weekend- it was his first overnight kenneling and he did wonderful- I got some great pictures of him there and he got the cutest little report card from his weekend there. I am looking forward to doing his Disney trip pages. He goes back with us again the first weekend in June.
