It was time to make Dining Plans since I booked a package that included Dining. I leave in like 25 days... lol I would be in trouble if I was just now thinking about ADRs! lol

Its better than sending that e-mail 3 days before you leave. :rotfl: It would be nice if they sent a reminder e-mail about about 190 days though.

you can make adr's without having the dining plan, or even staying on property from what I understand. You can also add the dining plan anytime up to maybe 7 days before your trip. so maybe someone booked a few adr's for a vacation, and is now realizing, because of that email, it would be cheaper to use the dining plan. just a thought.

It also allows Disney to politely say to the guest screaming at Guest Service CMs, "well we sent you an email". Not that the guest would acknowledge getting that note 3+weeks before their trip. ;)

At least they sent it at all. (Better late than never!)

It was awful to watch people the first year try to walk up and then be told that the next available table would be 8pm..TOMORROW! I felt so bad for them!

One was an older couple in ECV's (their personal ones, not rentals) and they were told at Councourse that the wait for a table was 3+ hours...it was only 5:30pm.

I bet at 30 days prior there were still ressies available somewhere, with better times than 9pm meals. Bus I do agree that 190 day e-mail would be better.

OK sending a reminder e-mail is great buy I say about 150 days out. Gives us time to make ours and to make changes for those that do the research and call at 180 days.

When we were last year there was more than once I heard a CM explaining they
shoud have made ADRs.

We got a postcard yesterday about it and we're only 11 days out! haha. :lmao:

While a little more notice would be better. It is do able to get ressies at 25 days out.


I just planned a last minute trip for June 13th today and got lots of great ADRs, including LeCellier and Character Meals.:thumbsup2
