Thinking of staying here for 1 night during our holiday so the kids can have some fun on a beach.

Does anyone know this hotel?

It's reasonably priced, on the beach and looks okay.

Also, is the best side the harbour/city side or the ocean side. I love the romantic idea of the ocean side but love twinkling lights and people watching :goodvibes

Many thanks :thumbsup2

we stayed here a couple of years ago for 2 nights and we thought it was fab
I would def go for a room overlooking the beach as the view is wonderful we sat on the balcony on my birthday watching the sun go down and drinking champagne, the kids loved the beach that the hotel is on and at times we could see dolphins swimming in the sea, if you decide to do a dolphin cruise while you are in clearwater i would recommend the little toot as the dolphins love the wake from this converted tug boat and come so close you can almost touch them

any other questions please ask and i will try to answer

Thanks very much for your reply Vicki :thumbsup2

Is access to the beach bit okay or do we have to traipse round it?

Is there anything to see/do close by?

hi
the hotel patio leads straight on to the beach and there is even a small childrens play area, if i knew how to put photos on i would post some as we have some really good ones of the beach area, there isnt a lot around the hotel area although i seem to remember that there was a gift shop and a chinese restaurant across the road, but the main area is about 5mins drive away there is a sunset festival on the pier everyday with music and the marina is there with all the different boats that do the dolphin tours when we were there we got a cab to the pier and walked back to the hotel although it did take about 25 mins with the kids as they were very tired by then
