Pool hours

Does anyone know the pool hours at the Contemporary? Does it ever "close"? I know my teen will want to swim as much as she can. I am also trying to think of what to do with my very early (usually 6:30 a.m.) 5 y/o. It is a VERY long time between his rising and the parks opening. A VERY long time...

...either the pools never close or they close no earlier than midnight. And this may depend on the resort. However, I *DO* know that the pools are always open much longer than the lifeguards are on duty.

Bottom line: You can certainly count on the pools being open till midnight--at least!! And I would bet that you can access the pools VERY early in the morning since lots of "fitness" buffs go for early morning swims!!

I THINK EVERY RESORT IS DIFFRENT FOR THE MAIN POOL BUT I DO NO THAT THE QUITE POOLS ARE OPEN 24 HRS.

hi: there won't be lifeguards in the early a.m. or the later p.m. times, but you can certainly swim at just about any hour. my teens have been using the pools after hours for years.

Pool hours seem to vary from resort to resort, and also depending on what sort of crowd is at the resort at any given time. Once we were at the CBR during some kind of cheerleading competition, and the pools closed at 10:00 PM, but other times we've been told they're open 24 hours. Best bet is to check with the desk when you checkin!

I think the pools are open until late at all the resorts for just swimming and relaxing, but the slides are shut down when the lifeguards leave at around 9 or 10.

Florida law requires a life guard to be present when a slide is in use.
