Hi Everyone,
First off I want to thank all you wonderful people for helping me plan our up coming trip to WDW....now that trip hasn't even started but I am planning our next one. This trip is with the grandkids ages 12 and 14, we are staying at my son's house in Tampa...
My question...I want to stay at the Polynesian in December and make it a golfing trip for my husband and I....I can't find much info on packages.....are there such things? We plan on staying about four days and golfing at three different courses...any help would be appreciated...
Judy

If you like the planning part of it (and I love it), it is really less expensive to make the reservations and tee times yourself. Be warned, we were there last Dec and the golf prices were over $100. Normally we can get discounted rates after 2:00 pm, but with limited daylight in the winter you're stuck paying full price. They are beautiful courses though and Poly will even get you transportation to the courses for free. Good Luck and have fun!!

Disney has a golf package that includes room, a breakfast per day, and a round of golf per day. It does not include theme park tickets. It is described on its official site in the vacation planning section. Recommend against the package as its price is high and if you rent room separately, buy golf separately, buy tickets separately and buy meals separately you will likely end up spending at least $200 less per sperson than the package costs.

If you are a Disney Club member or a National Emerald Club member you can get a 20% discount off the regular price of a round. You can make tee times up to 90 days in advance if staying on site. For info on golf courses see www.wdwgolf.com
