On our Thanksgiving trip last year I got a few pins.(four to be exact)How do I know if I have"good" pins or not. I would like to start trading and collecting on our upcoming May trip. Should I get some trader pins at home at TDS or wait until we are at WDW? I read to get Limited pins or pins only available in my area. How do I know what these are? Also, I will be there May 27-30-- will there be any special pins I can get at this time. I am an AP Passholder as well if that make any difference? Are there speical AP pins ??

Check out www.pinpics.com. There you can check out what pin it is that you have.

Also check www.dizpins.com and www.dizneypins.com for new & upcoming releases.

I think it's really important to buy what you like. If you think it's pretty, then probably someone else will too! And if they don't...well then, you like it anyway!!

Hi, if you are going to be trading with cast members, then pick up lots of pins from your local DS. At $4-$5 each, it is a great buy for traders. The cheapest pins that you will find at the parks are $6.50. Have fun and collect what you like!

The only question you asked not answered is yes there are AP pins. Last year they were free, this year you have to buy them.....if they have them in stock. The non-limited one is a moving Mickey with a paintbrush, the current LE one is of "Dreamcatcher" from the Tapestry of Dreams parade in EPCOT, but that one is hard to find.

Just got back from WDW this week and the first few days back are always too hectic. Nope, haven't seen your post.....yet. It was great meeting you and your son! Hope we can see each other again at WDW. Just made my reservations this afternoon for the Sept pin meet at WDW.
June/July reservations were made while we were down there.

Daber- do you haev to ask for the AP pins special or are they out with the other ones?

Also, I went to TDS today and they didn't not have a very large selection of pins; maybe a rack at the most. The only ones they had were thre 12 Months of Magic pins and a few Americana related ones. Is this all most of them have?
