My wife and I are celebrating our 22nd anniversary in Disney the end of may. Does anyone have any ideas on ways to celebrate? We have been to Disney 8 times so we are kinda looking for something besides the normal stuff. Thanks for any help!!

Take a carriage ride at either POR, FW, or WL - very romantic. Get reservations for the California Grill for right around wishes. Watch Wishes from the beach at the Poly. Dinner and a movie at the West Side. Or splurge and go see Cirque.

Definitely recommend La Nouba! couples massage... get the anniversary button that they have for you too

oh... a spontaneous dance with her somewhere in the park if you hear music could be nice (some people are scared of that idea though)

Anything Disney!

Congratulations! We celebrated our 20th end of May last year...Hard to believe 21 is coming up :) The buttons were great fun and in some cases got us the royal treatment, so don't forget to wear them!

Out of the ordinary might include a horseback ride, or take on of the tours, like the Keys to the Kingdom Tour, or the 7 hour Backstage Magic Tour that encompasses Epcot, Magic Kingdom and Hollywood Studios. You get to eat lunch at Mama Melroses and only those over 16 are allowed to tour. The Cost is $199 per person, but totally was worth it. We also did Behind the Scenes tour at AKL and the Sunrise Safari. Those were awesome if you like animals.

La Nouba is a don't miss either, we did not get to see it last May, they were closed for a week, but we did catch it this January.

Do you golf? You can rent equipment/cart and hit the links. I go just for the scenery! :) You can also rent a boat and fish. If your flush on funds, rent the Disney yacht for a dinner fireworks cruise. There are also jet skis and paddle boats available.

Take advantage of the photopass photographer. They use their camara, and will also shoot with yours!

Whatever you do, it will be enchanting, because nobody does it like Disney :yay:

Ooooh we did this for my 5 year survival Victory Tour dinner. They dim the lights and pipe the music in and it's sooo romantic. It's a really tough res to get though. I tried to book it daily for months and only got it last minute through the kindness and pixie dust of some fellow Disers as a celebration of the occasion. You never know though, it's always worth a try. The beach sounds heavenly too.:cloud9:

The pins you can get at Guest Relations... they say "Happy Anniversary" or at a concierge/check in

Definitely make it a tradition!! We disneymooned and we've been back for every anniversary since (it'll be 7 years this October). :goodvibes

DH bought DVC points for me as our wedding present so we've decided that it's a requirement that we spend every anniversary at WDW. :thumbsup2

La nouba is always great, but so are little things like finding a little table in Mexico in the corner, a late night hot tub dip, a late reservation at Jiko. Get the pins, we have gotten free desserts and our own cars on some of the rides, as well as cast members just being nice and saying congrats!

DH and I are celebrating our 25th at the CSR in September. We are thinking of doing the fireworks cruise. We are also having a special dinner at Fulton's--first Disney restaurant my DH ever took me to. I am enjoying this thread to get other ideas as well.

We're doing the dinner and Wishes at Cali Grill for our 25th! We did our 15th there and loved it so much. The pins will be neat this time. I dont' know if they didn't have them or if we just didn't know about them last time????

We are celebrating our 20th anniversary in December. Staying at the GF and eating at V&A's. Going to do things that we can't do or won't do with the kids with us like; Epcot Segway tour, LaNouba, eating at the Nice restaurants (like AP, Shula's, etc..), maybe a massage at the GF spa, sleigh ride or a Backstage Tour. Try to have a more fun, relaxing trip and less there to ride the rides.:cloud9:

congrats on your anniversary! whatever you do I'm sure it'll be magical. It seems like everyone has great suggestions for you. I'm personally excited to go with SO in August because we've never done anything like this in the couple years we've been together. Hopefully he'll get some hints from the romance and think more about putting a ring on my finger :goodvibes ... I'm not too worried though. I think just reading posts like this gets me excited for our future.

This is a great thread!

We are celebrating our 25th wedding anniversary at WDW in October. The actual day is our last day on a 4 day Wonder cruise where I hope to book Palo's in the evening for a romantic meal. The day before the cruise we have an 8pm ADR at Cali Grill to watch Wishes - can't wait!

It's also our first trip to SSR since buying in to DVC.

We stayed at the Polynesian resort.;)
But try BW bakery for goodies, you will just have to pick them up.
Flowers and stuffed Mickeys can be delivered to your room no matter what resort you stay at. WDW florist is fabulous.:) Have fun!:thumbsup2
