I'm considering staying at Comfort Inn LBV, and just want to get some opinions on their rooms first. Are they clean? CPretty close to Downtown Disney? Any info. is greatly appreciated!!!

Have a great holiday weekend!:bounce: :bounce: :bounce:

Rooms are kind of clean (I know that is not much of an endorsement!) The beds are fairly cheap and half of the hotel faces the interstate. I have stayed there and for a short cheap night would consider it again, but.... you get what you pay for in this case. The front desk staff is horrible.

Has anyone stayed at both of these motels? Bumping up for more reviews...

Thanks!

I'm going to bid Priceline for our hotel, but some of our friends are interested in the Comfort Inn LBV. They have stayed at Magic Castle before (& it is old, but clean)...Is this similiar? On the sites, it sounds a little better than M.C.

Thanks for any replies!

I stayed there for one night (late arrival) and found it to be good. We had no problems with check-in or check-out. Our room was clean, new bed spreads & curtains. It had a mini microwave and mini fridge. The hotel itself is huge and has nice gardens. It did have a good snack/gift shop, a bar/lounge and a restaurant. They do sell park tickets in their lobby area. All in all, I would stay there again for a quick stay. Not sure I would spend a whole week there. The hotel is about a 5 min drive to the end entrance of wdw, by the Downtown Disney entrance. It would be a long drive from the Magic Kingdom everyday. I arrived in the dark so I don't know what the pool area looks like. And I left very early in the morning, so I don't know what breakfast was like either.

We just stayed at Comfort Inn LBV over Easter. I have to agree with the other poster who said that the front desk was horrible - no customer service skills at all.

Our room was clean and the location was great. It's only a few minutes away from Downtown Disney and there are several fast food and regular restaurants very nearby.

We had a family suite because we have three children. It had 1 queen bed, a kids area with walls almost to the ceiling, 1 set of bunk beds, and a junior bed. It even had a separate tv/vcr for the kids. A good size refrigerator and microwave were included, too. We paid $67 per night plus tax.

We had a pool side room which is on the I-4 side of the building. We could hear the noise from the traffic on I-4, but I can't really say it bothered us. The parking lot side would definitely be much more quiet.

I have pictures of the Magic Castle room we stayed in October, if you want I can e-mail them to you.

It was clean and the staff was great. The breakfast was a real $$$$ saver. We were on a very budget trip.

It is not luxurious but clean and we stayed 13 nights in a suite for $33 a night.

We liked it because the price allowed us to extend our visit to WDW by 5 days.
The pretty large fridge let us freeze several water bottles at one time and the microwave sved us lots on lunch and snacks.

If anyone wants pictures, e-mail me.....:)

We stayed at the Comfort Inn LBV last April for $35 per night. Our room was clean, had a refrigerator and microwave (no extra charge), 2 pools, location is great. I didn't use their WDW transport because we had a car. This was an extra 5 night mini trip so we didn't want to spend alot (already had AP's). We didn't have any trouble with the front desk but the only thing we did there was check in and check out. We just needed a place to sleep and this hotel was cheap, clean, and close. I would stay here again.

I just wanted to add that we didn't use their transportation either. We did get a schedule and they only had a few pick-ups/drop-offs for each park per day. I don't think I'd stay there unless I had my own vehicle to get around.

Thanks for all of the replies! I never had time to do Priceline, so we ended up staying with our friends at the Comfort Inn LBV. It was adequate, and met our needs. We are NEVER in the room! Actually, this was the 1st time that we ever used a hotels pool while visiting WDW!
