Woo Hoo Ireland!!! I'm hoping to go next summer after my DD graduates high school - but only if the dollar rebounds!! Right now I'm busy studying and (trying to, at least) learn the Irish language. Loads of fun but fairly difficult in that there's no one local that I can talk to in the language :scared1: ! Anyway, welcome aboard and enjoy your trip, and the Dis!! Nice people are here.

Go raibh maith agat, mo chara!! :cool1: I'm having a good time with it - I'm going to load up my iPod with the CDs I have (one from the Buntas Cainte and I have 2 others) so I can listen along as I study because a huge part of my problem is I don't get to hear it spoken on a daily basis. But I shall persevere!!!:cool1: :cool1:

just had to jump in and say Welcome!!!
we were soooooo lucky to visit Ireland in 2002 with great friends. I remember it so vividly, it was truly the greatest trip around the MOST beautiful country.
we did a tour and then rented a car and tooled around furter north for about a week. What an amazing country, the people could not have been more friendly and helpful and that is what we talk about even more than the amazing beauty.
we couldn't help but feel there must be some disappointment for those who come over here and find it a teensy bit different!!
anyway, have fun planning a great trip and again, welcome to the boards!

Well ... welcome to the board and back to Disney World if and when you make it. Our family's second favorite vacation destination ... behind the Magic Kingdom ... is your fair isle. Particularly Dublin, which is my favorite city in the world.

Happy Planning!
The only place I visit more than Disney is Ireland. Hope you have as much fun in our country as I've had in yours!!!! ;)
