Hi, have been looking at buying tickets for Universal Studios. Has anyone bought tickets from Dreams Unlimited which seem very reasonable at 80$ compared with UK sites at £57? Reason I am asking is that they issue you with a printable ticket which has to be presented at the gate. I am not sure about paying over the money then the possibility of this being rejected at the gate. As it's a US based company there may be no comeback.

Also I feel I have just been conned by Thomsons. I bought my Disney tickets at Lunn Poly (Thomsons) and on paying the balance last week was informed I have to collect my vouchers/tickets at some place in Kissimmee before I can go to the parks. I was there two years ago and this wasn't the case. A voucher was issued to present at the first park you decided to attend. What a timewasting exercise this is going to be.

Welcome to the Disboards. I bought my Universal tickets thru Dreams unlimited and printed them out rather than pick them up when we get there. Many people have bought tickets from them and I've never read of anyone having a problem. As for being 'done' by the TA's I think we've probably all been there at one time. It was our first time visiting last year and booked everything through the TA's, our 14 day ultimate tickets cost us about £195 each!!!!!! I've bought next year's for £175 each. You live and learn.

Many of us on here use DU for travel needs for US, they are probably about the best in the business. By the end of this year they will have had well over $3,000 of business from me for a cruise and Universal tickets.
We bought the 7 day Uni ticket at Easter, no problem at all just take the printout with you and use a ticket machine at the entrance it then gives you your ticket. Your print out/voucher actually comes direct from Universal not DU.
Would never buy tickets from a UK T/A they change rules every year for collection.

Just gone thru to purchase page same price to print for any country, will no doubt cost more if you want posting. Have you seen a different price?

Yes its a different ticket you are pricing. Thats only a 3 day ticket. The one we are talking about is a 7 day unlimited ticket. link in Jakey's post

The 2/3 day ticket expires 14 days from 1st use
PLEASE NOTE THE FOLLOWING:
All three (3) days of admission to Universal Studios & Islands of Adventure must be used within fourteen (14) consecutive days, including first day of use.

The 7 days unlimited expires 7 days from 1st use
RESTRICTIONS:
*Ticket is valid for seven (7) consecutive days (seven [7] days includes first day of use).

If you go year after year (or a few times a year like us:) ) then an Annual pass is best value. about $190 for 1st year but then only $99 a year after that includes free parking and a very good discount scheme compared to Disney. If its something you might be interested in they sometimes do 2 years for price of one, thats a good way to start a Universal AP.
Also worth considering just 1 member of a family buying to get the parking and discounts.

Thanks for the info, but we only go to Florida every 3 to 4 years. W really only need US tickets for 2 days next summer, (we're going to have one night at a universal hotel to get the front of line access). So 7 days validity will be more than enough.

Probably not worth buying AP then for 1 night but some buy them to get a saving on hotels. This was last prices they sent out for AP holders, don't know how they compare with full rates, never stayed onsite. Never needed FOTL access at Uni or IOA.
