We typically go to WDW in March of the even years, but I was diagnosed with breast cancer last July, had surgery in August and had 6 rounds of chemo ending in December. Needless to say, this was not the year to go. (Didn't want my "faux hair" flying off on the rides!;) ) We made our DVC ressies just a few weeks ago, 3/11 - 3/16 @BCV & 3/16 - 3/21 @BWV, and I made our plane ressies yesterday!!! :woohoo:

Another survivor here. I had a trip plan about 8 weeks before I started chemo and told my dr. that I wasn't giving up my trip that I had saved for all year. I was tired but it was one of the best trips ever for me.
Glad to hear that you will be going back to the best place ever.

Enjoy and Congratulations for winning the fight.

Congratulations! I too am a breast cancer survivor (I was diagnosed last February and had three months of radiation). We weren't supposed to go last year, but DH made extra money in the summer and took me to celebrate my successful cancer surgery and 50th birthday.

Congrats again!

My wife was diagnose 3 years ago. We've had some setback. She is now having reconstruction done. Her doctor scheduled her around our trips. He believes in a positive attitude and you don't get any more positive feeling than a little pixie dust. Great new and good luck:wizard: . Believe in the magic.
