Cash Only at Typhoon

Just wanted to let you all know that a friend of mine just got back from WDW (they had a great time:pinkbounc
She did say that when they went to water park Typhoon Lagoon, they brought only their travelers checks and when they went to purchase some lunch, they were informed that only cash was accepted (after ordering and food was ready) she had to tell them to take it back because all they had was travelers checks, they did say keep the food but pointed out that there was a sign. She said there was one but very small and not very noticable:eek:
Just thought I would let you all know that if you wish to eat at this water park make sure you have cash on hand:D (No Credit Cards accepted either)

What about Disney Dollars?

We've always been able to use our room cards for charging stuff at Typhoon Lagoon and Blizzard Beach, so you could probably go that route.

Disney Dollars are accepted as cash throughout WDW, so wherever cash is accepted, so are Disney Dollars. :)

That's interesting to know. I guess I must have used cash for lunch last year at BB. I know I used my credit card at the gift shop because I bought more than what I had in cash ($20). Thanks for letting us know.
