July 4th decorations

I need to come up with some ideas to decorate our campsite for the 4th of July. Any ideas?

Thanks, Jen! I went to the dollar store and have some things but I am trying to come up with disney deco! I just looked at Oriental and they have some more stuff I can add. I guess I will just make some into Mickeys!

I just ordered some things off Oriental Trading too. I have other things that are Disney Related that I hope to make a little more patriotic and add to the site.

For those that do blow ups do you leave them on 24/7 or do you shut them down at night?:confused3

Are people bringing things to toss to the campers during the golf cart parade? How elaborate are the cart decorations?

We are getting so excited. This trip can't come soon enough:cool1:

that is the spirit...they have lots of crafty things you can make into mickeys too, so don't forget to go to that section...

When we do blow ups, we have them on a timer and it comes on at dusk. As far as the decorations, people go all out...you should go and search through the dis for 4th threads and i know there was one with all kinds of pics of the parade...if you haven't signed up for the Grand Gathering, see sticky on main thread board, attach your ressie...that way, we know who you are and can come and see you in person if that is your style...

Yes, people bring things to toss, mostly candy...I plan on buying a big bulk of stuff from oriental in the coming weeks, just candy though...stuff that will not go bad
