Well I went to Scraptastic yesterday and met Mark and his wife, what lovely people! :)

I got my Scrapbooking Secrets book and the Colour Swatch and they gave me, March's edition of Creating Keepsakes, Oct/Nov edition of Paper Kuts and A Step by Step Guide to Scrapbooks!

I am so happy with these and just want to get started. The ideas in them are great and inspiring :)

Mark was telling me about their get together on April 14th - anyone going to be able to get there? It is Stanford le Hope.

:) :) :) :)

Ooh Janice, do tell, what is Mark like? I've met Shimelle a couple of times (we keep bumping into each other on the train - I scared her half to death the first time as I recognised her from pics in magazines and asked her if she was Shimelle, she lept out of her seat in surprise!)

I really wish I could go to the crop on the 14th, but I don't think my dh would approve after going to the weekend long crop last month! There will be a lot of people from the UKScrappers group there though, I think Dee posted that she was going and she is a new scrapper too.

Did you go to the Kensington show? What did you think?

I wish I could go but DH goes to the States on the Saturday and I can't leave the kids on their own.
If they've got the card swatches done now perhaps mine will arrive in the next few days and I can get started. Can't wait:D
What are you going to start with Janice? I'm thinking of starting with some photos I have of DS and DDs first school or some photos I took in the garden last weekend.

LoL Bev - he is very charming and just how you might imagine him after speaking to him on the phone. A very gentle voiced man, quite young and very 'into' Scrapbooking! LOL

I didnt realise that it was his wife I was talking to until I saw her picture in one of the magazines. She is very nice and quite tiny.

Christine - I dont know what to start with, I really should wait till we move, but I know that I am going to get carried away and will just have to make a start on something! Probably of my two when they were little :) Although I think it is a good idea to start with something that if it goes a bit wrong, I will not be too upset about the photo's :)

Kaylee - it would be lovely to have the chance to have met you - maybe another time :)
