View Full Version : Has anyone rented from this site?

I'm still up in the air about on or off site for our next trip. Has anyone rented from www.villatorent.net or www.villatorent.uk? They have a variety of homes in Emerald Island, Windsor Hills, and Formosa Gardens. The homes are beautiful, the owner got right back to me when I inquired about dates and the prices are fantastic. I'm concerned that they are maybe too fantastic. :confused3

Anyone have any first-hand knowledge? We've never rented directly through an owner before; we've always gone through an agency. Any help is greatly appreciated.

I rented a home within Formosa Gardens from Philip in Dec 2005. He is very trustworthy and always responds quickly to emails.

Yes, we rented Lakeview House in Windsor Hills this past MArch. We had a wonderful stay and our transactions with Phillip and with the management company were first rate.

PS. This is not quite "direct by owner" -- I never corresponded with the owners of Lakeview house.

:goodvibes Thank you both! I think we will definitely go with them next year. Now it's just a matter of deciding which home I like best. I really like the pool for Oyster Cay, the princess BR's at Lakeview House and Lakeland, and the game room at Cedar Key. So many choices!

Oyster Cay's pool is near where we stay, and its really nice.
The one we stayed at in 2005 was Formosa Blvd, and Sea Pearl Circle is next door to the one we stay at now.

Paul, if you don't mind me asking, where do you stay now? I'm leaning toward choosing a home in Formosa Gardens. I like how the properties aren't one right on top of the other. Thanks again.
