AKL Transportation to/from parks

We had a tough time getting from Epcot to AKL and back last June. We missed our PS at Boma's, but they held one for us after I called. We had a 90+ minute wait for a bus. I even called the transportation supervisor for help, with little effect.

Has the situation improved in the last year? We are planning a trip in May and wonder if we should rent a car or just take a limo and use bus service.

We found that we didn't have to wait long at all going from AKL to somewhere else. Getting back to AKL was a different story. We waited quite a long time for that. We were only there two nights, so I wasn't sure if our experience was typical, but I've seen other posters say the same thing. It wouldn't stop me from staying there again, but I would know to expect that.

We stayed at AKL in December, and had no problems with using Disney's transportation. We didn't have a car, and had no problems getting around at all. The longest we waited for a bus was about ten minutes.

Same as ducklite for us. We were there in November with no problems in either direction.
