I'm hoping that some creative Dissers can steer me in the right direction. The spring semester is almost over, and I have this summer to turn two porches into nice/happy living spaces. One of the porches is on our first floor and runs the entile length of the house. Three walls have windows running from the ceiling to about 38" above the floor. I would love to turn this area into a beach/cottagy looking room. I already have nice wicker furniture for this space to use, but I'm willing to paint it.

The second porch is about 18'x8' and I would love to turn it into an office with a tropical/sunny/happy feel to it. I'm back in school persuing an early childhood intervention specialist degree, so I want my own space and storage to work on all of the school projects that will come with my studies and work. I'd also like to store some scrapbooking things in there.

Can anyone suggest some websites that show exmples of rooms that may give me ideas about how to decorate these rooms? I'm a very visual learner and need to see an idea before I try it. Also, are there any words of wisdom/suggestions that you may have for me about these projects before I jump in?

TIA for any help!:goodvibes

:confused3 Anyone have any ideas? I tried HGTV.com and it wants me to pick a show and week #...I would be there all day! Most of the other sites are home pages for interior designers.

Help!:)

Southern Living.
Or Coastal Living.

I think those would have the themes you are looking for. I know Southern Living has a searchable website. I would think Coastal Living would too.

Good luck!!
