I weighed in at 120.4 lbs. :cheer2:

My BMI is 19.1 :woohoo:

I can walk 2 miles without hurting. :confused3 Okay I still need to walk 2 more miles without hurting. But I still have months to get that down. :thumbsup2

I am eating healthier without obsessing. :cloud9:

I can do 20 minutes of that DVD without wanting throw something at the TV. :lmao: I need to be able to do the whole thing, but I'll get there.

:thanks: I wouldn't have gotten this far without you guys!

Congrats AWM!!! Now keep it up.

I have had a bad week, rain, migraines, stress, etc.

Tomorrow is a new day though. If the rain ever stops I am heading out in the AM to walk before DS6 goes to a B'day party.

That is totally what I used to say! I wrote down a schedule of what I did every day and found that I would check my email (and DIS) from 7:30 to 8 every morning. Now nothing is better than waking up and checking in with all of you (like I'm doing right now!), but I realized that if I was going to lose weight and get training for the 1/2 marathon, I had to find the time. So there it is. Usually I get up at 6:30 and walk from 7 to 8. Works perfectly! My kids and DH are still asleep and I get an hour to myself. (The funny thing is that I hated to excercise before I started, but now I really am enjoying it! I've lost 25 pounds so far! :)

AWM: 2 things for you...

Great job!:cheer2: :cheer2: As I was out walking/running today, I realized that I never congratulated you!:cheer2: :cheer2: It is hard work, but so worth it!

and

I saw a car the other day with this as a license plate: AWM :scared1:
Made me think of you (but not in a creepy, stalker kind of way...):rolleyes1

Congrats AWM!!! ;)

Congrats Mickster..... I really wish I could gain some good self control and stop trying to DIS every time I walk past the computer... another reason my house looks like the tornado hit it this week.. and I have to have it cleaned by tomorrow because FIL and SIL are coming for a visit... (yep, I'm tolerating one of DH's sisters because she called and asked to come visit since she doesn't travel much to see us~~ my good deed)

Congratulations AWM and Mickster!!!

I fell off the wagon, hard. I got on the scale yesterday and almost passed out when I saw the results of how bad I've been. So, I told DH that I am no longer allowed to eat in front of the television (my major downfall) and that he has permission to be a great big jerk about it if I try:).

I still have time to lose weight before I meet you all, but it has to start TODAY!!!

I'm so happy for those of you who are succeeding, and I hope to join you soon:).

:woohoo: OMGosh Mickster!!! 25 pounds!!! (yes that is a lot of exclamation points, you deserve them)

Kim, everyday is a new day. A new day to start over. Heck, every hour is a new hour. You just pick yourself and start again. I know you can do it.

I have a tornado, earthquake, and laundry volcano at my house. I have no self control with this computer either. I would much rather sit here and wait a few minutes to see if someone posts than do housework.

:woohoo: She said we can use her stuff!

Now, how to make the transfers to go on the shirts. :confused3

I have no idea, but I DO know that, no matter what, my shirt IS GOING TO BE A SMALL!!! I don't care how hard I have to work between now and then, I want to be Hot and What Not, too!

Seriously, AWM, knowing that you've made it has really inspired me to kick some butt (literally!) on my workouts and get it done.

go to ACMoore or Michaels, but transfer paper, print on best setting (following directions), iron.

Or send me a shirt and some fundage for the transfer ($10 for 5 sheets) and I'll do them. LOL

Okay, I'll be sending you some shirts & fundage. You have to print them in reverse/mirror to make it work, right? That's the part I don't think I could do at home.

depends on the transfer paper. Your printer setting should have a reverse (mirror) image choice.

Don't forget to tell me which pics you want.

Thank you so much. I can't believe it's been a month of walking. I think I've missed two or three days. My DH was proud of me. It was pretty windy yesterday and looked like it would rain all day. (It did rain in the morning) So I put myself on the tread mill and walked/dance stepped 2.25 miles in 40 minutes. Just so I didn't take the easy way out. "Oh the weather is bad, I can't do my walking." Pat myself on the back. ;)

The eating part is still really difficult. I am a constant grazer. I am always in search of the next thing to eat. Keeping the 100 calorie pack stuff, cheese & salad fixings in the house is really helping. I still can't resist the chocolate pieces, but they are now one at a time instead of a bunch at once. Once these bags of Bliss are gone (2 for $5 + $1.00 off coupon at Target last week), no more candy for me.

My medium yoga pants from last year are too big. They fall around my hips now. :woohoo: I still prefer my T-shirts a medium, 'cause I like the room. I did buy my new summer swimsuit the other day. I got the Tink 3-piece Tankini when it was on sale. A size SIX! And it is far from snug. It looks pretty good. Just need to tone up the tush if I'm not gonna wear the skirt part. :teeth:

Unfortunately, this is probably the most relevant to me (and why I haven't joined the HAWN bandwagon yet):
