Kind of sad today... sold our small BWV contract

A few months ago I posted that we were considering selling one of our contracts. After a lot of thought we sold our 60 point BWV through the Timeshare Store. It will be hard for me to put the signed contract in the FAX! We decided we needed the money and kids are in college so we probably will only be going every other year, especially if fuel prices keep climbing.

We still have our 210 point contract so we're happy but it's just hard to let go of even a small piece :)

If your 210 point contract is for BWV, you'll still be able to spend valuable time at one of the best DVC resorts! I think that I would be sad too giving up a little piece of the magic.

Thanks everyone... I do hope they take good care of our points! We will still be able to go every year by banking and borrowing or take a big trip every couple of years. I'm just surprised at how hard it is to let those points go! (WDWguru's cool webcam is not helping - I love the Boardwalk view!)

with 210 contract could go to WDW alot!!!

you can stay in BWV standard view studio (kids are gone right) - for 45 points for 5 days.

just redo your stays. you can still go once a year if you want too. Okay with gas prices - maybe not.

since it is just you and your spouse - might be time to get a economy car. more trips with one.

Thanks Spicey... we know we can still go every year if we want - it is just hard to let go of the small contract but we're glad the points are going to someone who will appreciate them! We will fly as it is too far to drive from Minnesota - we do have a hybrid Civic so maybe someday we'll attempt the drive if flights go way up in price.

We have a trip with our family planned in January - we haven't all been together in WDW since 2005!
