Anyone had any success with Dove gradual tanner? I just started using it
(3x) and already I think it's doing better than Jergens. The smell is better than Jergens too.

Hope to be tanned for WDW in 3 weeks!!! :)

I just started using it and was amazed at how well it worked. It said that within 3 days you would start seeing it....I saw it within just 2 days. I just need to figure out how to put it on better around my feet. I think I put the lotion too thick on my ankles and the top of my feet, they look patchy.

How does yours look, any advice on application?

so far, so good. I haven't had any 'staining' yet. I have 'heard' that you can put regular lotion on those areas first - before applying the tanner and it won't stain as much.

one more thing - some people say it wipes off after bathing....so I have been patting dry. The jergens never came off.

I love the Dove! I have been using it on and off for a year and like it so much better then the Jergens.

So it doesn't have that "self tanner" smell? I can't stand that! We're leaving in two weeks and it would be nice to have a little color other than stark white!! Do you use it all over (face, etc) or just legs?

It does still have a slight smell, but nothing like the other brands! I actually like the smell of the Dove. And yes, I use it all over and have not had a problem.

Is Dove better than a spray tan? Does it feel greasy? I HATE feeling greasy and my skin breaks out. How often do you use it? We're going in 3 weeks!

well, it really doesn't feel greasy - but you can definitely tell you have something on your legs. I've been using it every day for a few days now. I think it's better than a spray tan - looks more natural and not a lot of spottiness.
