I do not know how to make a poll.

We are going in July, garden view. I was wondering which one to request.

If anyone has pictures of their view from these longhouses, I'd love to see them!!

Samoa, Garden View, 1st floor patio view:

Sorry it was an overcast July 2007 day. Anyway, that's shows the easy access to the Volcano Pool, and by extension, easy access to the beach and GCH.

We've stayed in both Tokelau and Samoa. Be aware that if you are on the quiet pool side of Samoa, you could get the view we did--of a storage area for the groundskeepers. Sorry, no photos, but it's not what we were hoping for!

We liked both locations. Samoa's a bit more convenient to the GCH, but Tokelau's rooms are bigger.

We have stayed in Tokelau- roomy (we have 3DS's) and had a side view of the castle

These are awesome! I can't wait.

I have friends who just went and booked a garden view room and were upgraded to lagoon view Tahiti - I wonder if I can get so lucky!!!

Samoa is a wonderful location since it is right accross from the volcano pool. Although we have never really encountered a bad view or choice.

We stayed in Tahati. It is kind of far from the GCH. It was very close to TTC. Our view was really of trees and other longhouse. However, if we had been on the other side of our longhouse, our view would have been of the MK.

the number was 3947. It was in the middle of the building-any on that side facing the quiet pool towards the lagoon would get the view! Yes, It was garden view! It was wonderful because our DS was 11months old and we could sit and watch Wishes from the balconey while he slept!

You will love the Poly!

When we went last year we requested either Tokelau or Samoa and ended up in Tokelau. It ended up being a perfect location for us. It is a short walk to the Volcano Pool and the quiet pool is right next door. The GCH is also a quick walk and you're super close to the bus stop. And even better, you're very near the TTC. We found it to be a very central, convenient location. But the best part about this resort is that just about every room has a beautiful view because of the lush landscaping. :goodvibes

We've stayed in Hawaii(concierge) and Tokelau. Tokelau is central to everything, and we've requested it again for our stay next week!:cool1:

I requested Tokelau as well for our 1st Poly stay. How long of a walk is it to the GCH?

It is NOT a good idea to request a specific room. The chances of that room being available at the time you check in are very small indeed! If you request a specific room only the CM has no idea what about that room was appealing to you.
You are better off to request a building or an area or a view. Then they have information to go on to try and meet your request

Thanks, that is a good point.

It seems like I would want to request 3rd floor tokelau facing the quiet pool - is there on end of the building where you can see the castle?

Sorry to ask so many questions! This board just has so much information!!

I would guess about 3 minutes, never timed it though. And approx. 5 minutes to the TTC. And maybe 4 minutes to the boat that goes over to MK. You'll love the Poly no matter which longhouse!

Does Tokelau have full balconies?
