Levitating Statue of Liberty Head on Spidey: Working?

I went to IOA on the 26th and rode Spider-Man about 9:30 PM.
This was the first time i was on it and ALL the effects were working. When the Statue of Liberty head was zapped by the laser, i swear it rose about 3 feet....are my eyes playing tricks on me, or was the effect working all of a sudden? It's never worked before on the other 20+ times i've been on it.

Ya got me wondering now too. I think it does move some. I guess.

Yes, it does raise most of the time. There are times it does not, but it is supposed it lift up.

Yes, it does move. It's been moving for quite some time. It's off occasionally for maintenance. It's just one of those you can easily miss.

See, I knew it. It's overhead, right after the pumpkin blast. It falls down for every car. Something to look for on your next visit.
