I'm excited! :goodvibes One of the companies I work at home for just opened an account with a place in Blaine, WA that will receive packages for you and you can just go pick them up! The extra cost to be will be $3.50 TOTAL ($2.50 for storing the package and $1.00 for the phone call to tell me that the package arrived). And the owner I work for said I could use their account to receive stuff too! :banana:

I know that we could be asked to pay duty when we cross back into Canada after picking stuff up, but it'll still be wayyyyyyyyyyyy cheaper than paying the ridiculous shipping charges, even if Canada Customs does decide to make us pay :goodvibes

Having a US mailing address is awesome. It lets you into alot of deals Canadians don't get, and you don't have to suffer from our "weak" dollar (it's been at par for what 7-8 months now?). Enjoy!

Depending on how much you purchase over the internet, it may be worth looking into getting a post office box down in the states.
We have one in Sumas Wa and it only costs about $40 a year. You just walk into the post office and ask to rent a box. It was easy.
