I decided to go september/october next year so we can be there for MNSSHP and F&W, I have never been able to go for F&W untill next year as I am at uni. we have been in early september and found the weather fine, yes it did rain however it does not rain all day, usually just a shower. We are going early september again this year.

I'm going at the end of this September. I've heard the weather is supposed to be really good at that time of year, and was last time I was out there in October

We go every year at the beginning of October. Yes we have had rain on the odd day but they are usually short, sharp, heavy showers and then over. The temperatures vary also but it is usually very warm. :cool2:

Weather wise both times are similar, just either aside of the stifling summer heat but still hot with the odd afternoon shower.
Neither is a really bad time to go, crowd levels about the same too.

I've been the last two weeks of September for the last 2 years. 2006 it rained once maybe twice, 2007 it rained three times I think, but never for the whole day and didn't spoil anything.
The temperature was really nice, hot but not too hot.

May can get very hot. I live here now and at the moment its not too bad, but that is probably because im aclimatized (i should be ive been here for over 5 years...lol) I would recommend late Sept October. From June-beginning Sept you get very hot weather with thunderstorm s and heavy showers in the early afternoon. Get into late september and its like someone turned off a switch and all that pretty much stops and it cools down. Today was 90 degrees.
Hope this helps

I agree with Johnny :thumbsup2
We were there for almost three weeks late April early May last year and also the first two weeks in October last year.
October is hotter, but a bit wetter - we had three fairly wet days but due to the warmer temperature you and wherever you are dries out pretty quickly!
In April/May last year we had only two storms the whole holiday.
One other thing you may want to think about is daylight hours, as it gets dark a lot earlier in October than May we felt that the days seemed shorter and evening swims were less enjoyable and the children went into sleep mode easier and weren't as keen to bust through the tiredness barrier to visit parks in the evenings. Just a little thing we noticed.

We have been both in May/June and October. We loved the weather in October, only having 2 hours of rain in the 3 weeks we were there. The one thing we did notice though, was that the monrings and evenings had s light chill to them at the back end of October.
May/June is a great time to go also, we are going back in 12 days. We did seem to have more rainfall at this time of year though.
I'm sure you will have a fab holiday what ever you choose to do!!:)
