What is Cool School?

I am both a geek and a nerd. It is true. I can't help it. Sigh. Such is my life. :)

Cool School is like day camp sponsored by our school district. They offer classes like scrapbooking, blanket making, sports and this year for the first time - Disney Mania (drawing, trivia) my DS is going to love it! And, because DD is going to kindergarten in the fall :woohoo: she gets to go this year. She is beside herself with excitement! (me too!) I signed them up for 5 classes total! (don't ask how much. you don't want to know...:scared1: )

I would sign myself up for some of those classes. Our school system does not do things like that. :sad:

oh yeah and the flashback for today is to call my highschool boyfriend who left me a message at my office yesterday while I was out. Talk about deja-vue. I have no idea what he could want or how he tracked me down sicne I haven't talked to him in about 9 years and I've since gotten married. This could be an interesting day.

and than a list about a page long of trival stuff (so I won't bore you) about 25% done; good thing DH is taking practice duty tonight so I can work...


Happy May!!! This means only 28 days of school left (includes weekends)...28 days til DS's birthday and just over 33 days til we are on the road for VACATION!!!!! :woohoo:

Morning! DS woke up with the croupy cough and having a hard time breathing so we are off to the doctor today.

1- doctor done
2- clean kitchen
3- make bed done
4- DD's Spanish presentation at school tonight
5- set up bounce house I found on craigslist for cheap cheap cheap... maybe, probably won't if DS is still down for the count nope

Well I left him a message so we'll see when he calls back. Its weird the guy I remember was kindof a slacker and his voicemail sounds all professional and stuff but it has been awhile since I've talked to him. Is it weird to be kindof nervous?

He just wanted to catch up. He got my work contact information across his desk at work and said I know her and gave me a call. It was pretty weird talking to him but we've both grown up now and gotten married and had kids. I'll have to tell DH when we get home tonight since he always said if I'd stayed in Charlotte for college this is who I would have probably married since I wouldn't have met him and I'm sure he's probably right. Isn't it odd when you think about that one thing had it been done different that would have changed your life. I think my college choice was my big one.

those steroids are somethin'! my little man is on them is he has been OFF THE WALL!

does he sound like a barking seal? the 1st time i ever heard the croup that's all i could think of!

Yep, barking cough. Poor little man was so scared this morning because he was having a hard time breathing. DD used to get croup all the time when she was smaller so I am well trained. A few minutes in a steamy bathroom helps get them breathing better in no time. :thumbsup2
