Ok, so after all that discussion about our three tents and whether or not they would fit on a large site in the 2000 loop, we get the news that DD's boyfriend has had a family emergency and won't be able to go on the trip with us after all.

So, here's the new question - will our 2 tents (19 x 10 and 12 x 9) fit onto one site in the 1500 loop? I know the sites in 2000 are bigger, but we like 1500 better.

I said before with the three it would be a tight squeeze, but doable, so now, you should be more doable, yes????:lmao:

I think you guys and gals are going to have a great time in 1500, make sure we get a trip report and pics!

You should have no problem. We had 2 8x10 tents and had room for a screen room with room to spare. We were in site 1503 which is right next to the bath house and the bus stop is right behind it. We loved that site.

Happy Camping!!!

As long as you don't get 1506, you should be fine. It is narrow and has a tree in a weird spot.

In my college days a large group of us would go to the fort for long weekends. We had up to 6 tents on site 2018 they where various sizes but they all fit.

I agree. I think you will be fine in all the sites of 1500 but avoid 1506. We had a 12 x 9 tent and a 15 x 15 screen house and because of that tree, our screen house overlapped the driveway by several feet.
