Grand Gathering & DDP?

We're off to Disney thanks to Free Dining! Sis & her family, as well as my parents will be joining us. Our agents at Dreams Unlimited suggested that we do a Grand Gathering since there are now 11 of us travelling. I never even considered a Grand Gathering, so I know very little about it.

The big question is can we apply TS credits to our Grand Gathering?

Is there anything else I should know? I'm started to feel overwhelemed now - information overload!

There are 16 of us going together in August as a grand gathering and will be using the ddp. We chose some restaurants to dine all together and others that we have reserved for smaller family or couple groups. The only thing the grand gathering does for you is to have all your rooms located together and to be able to choose some of the experiences reserved for the large groups. we are doing the fireworks cruise with peter pan, capt hook and smee character meets.
