Disney Magic refillable beer mug questions

Is the mug available upon entering the ship? Where? cost? does it include the first beer? How much for refills? any other info? How large is the mug/ounces? How much would it cost to buy a beer if we didnt have the refillable mug? Savings? Would you say it is a good deal or not?
I was thinking DH and I could get 1 mug and share depending on who wanted a beer at the moment. I love the look of it and I would kick myself later if we didnt get one.

The mug is available at most of the bars. We bought ours at the ESPN SkyBox. The cost is $10, I don't think it includes the first beer. Refills cost the same as a regular draft beer. The difference is that the mug is 22 oz. while the standard draft is 16 oz. In December the prices for draft beer were $3.25 for domestic and $4.00 for import (Heineken). Some quick math will tell you that the mug will pay for itself in about 8 beers. They will also fill it with soda for the price of a standard soda ($1.75, I think).

That said, you have to actually have the mug on your person to get it filled. It's somewhat heavy and I found it kind of a pain to drag around all the time. I think it was worth it on our first trip, as it makes a great souvenier, but on subsequent trips we've passed on it.

We too will probably buy a mug (or two) also, but we are going to bring our own soda and beer with us too. I do not think my dh would share his mug:rolleyes: !!!
