No summer time festivities? I love the whole Mardi Gras, party atmoshere!! Everyone is so friendly and happy all the time!! ( I guess the alcohol could play a role in that!!):p

A few years ago, there used to be the King Fundago's celebration in August. It was like a summer Mardi Gras. It doesn't exist anymore. You can see remnants of that celebration. Fundago was a huge gator and you can see a big gator float at the end of the Mardi Gras parade.

Just for fun ... did you know that the gator is made from an old parking lot tram... from back in the days when there were parking lots.

For their part in the friendly atmosphere, the Universal employees have a campaign going on. Look for it to be there, year round.
