soooo excited!! DH and I got to talking and decided to drive down during the day Sat so we added another day onto our stay!!
We'll be there Sept 1 - 8th at ASMU.
I'm not worried about crowds at all. The first few days after labour day are supposed to be the least busy of the whole year from what I've read in the forums.

We just booked yesterday for arrival mid-week, Sept 3 - 10. We had our pick of AAA discount at most resorts for all room categories. We chose WL, standard view.

I'll be at POFQ Aug. 28 - Sept. 2. :thumbsup2
Don't worry too much about the crowds in the parks, especially after Labor Day. They won't be that heavy. But I hope everybody has already made their ADRs. The restaurants will be PACKED! :)

Hi Everyone, We'll be there from Aug 30-Sept 6 @ POP. If the crowds are like last year, then we will be in EXCELLENT shape. The two busiest days will probably be Sat Aug 30 & Sun Aug 31, but they still shouldn't be too bad. Last year we were there at the same time & NEVER used a fastpass. We rode rides multiple times with little or no wait. We actually stayed on the Pooh ride & rode it again since there was no wait. Once, for It's A Small World we had the whole boat to ourselves. I think the longest wait we ever had for any ride was 20 minutes.

if you're referring to the Free Dining promotion - they had it last year at the same time (that's why we went last year!). It would definitely be a good idea to have your dining planned out & booked ahead of time because the free dining promotion will make it nearly impossible to eat anywhere without an ADR. So just make sure you have your ADR's lined up if you have the free dining and you should be in good shape.

We are going Aug. 30 - Sept. 6. We are staying at Pop 8/30 - 9/3 and then Wilderness Lodge (WOO HOO!) 9/3 - 9/6.
I was really worried about crowds and am hoping everyone is has posted is right when they say it won't be bad.
I am worried about the heat though, the last time I went was July and soon to be DH went as a kid in July as well. The other times of year I have been the temps have been okay, I just don't want to melt again!

We were there September 1 - 8 last year and it was 95 and humid the whole time. It didn't bother us and that is why we are going back for those dates again this year (plus, of course, free dining).

I'm more worried about soon to be DH more than myself. I will be happy no matter what since I'm at WDW. I'm sure it will be fine, there is enough ac around that you can stop into and get refreshed. :thumbsup2

My DH and I are 55 and 50. We went to the parks at rope drop (or extra morning hours) and left around 1:00 to go back to the CSR for a swim in the pool or a nap. Then we'd head back to the parks around 5:30 for our dinner ressie and the evening hours. Just drink lots of water (better than pop) and you should be fine. I also took a washcloth with me and ran it under cold water and put it around my neck--it helped a lot.

Thanks for the tip about the washcloth, I think I will do that.
