Hi,
We are new to Dis and would like to know how I get a ticker on my page?

Click on User CP, top left of page. Click on signature. Then copy and paste, your ticker info that the site provides once you finish one, in the signature box. It's that easy. Make sure you click preview to make sure you did it right. If you did the ticker will be on there.

There are a few sites that you can go on for tickers... some that I know are Tickerfactory.com & magical Kingoms (link below) http://www.********************/timers/stepone/vacation.html..

Once you create your ticker follow the instructions that the pp stated & just be sure to use the code given to you from the ticker site that is for "forums"!

Heck, I just clicked on someone else's ticker that I liked and it took me to a site with easy to follow directions. Now I like to post just to look at my signature. :)

I can get the background, slider, input the date and text. I can manage to copy and paste. On one part of the process it says that I can't use HTML, is this the only option?:confused3

I have spent three nights trying to get a ticker:confused: and still can't get it to work.
1. Select a background.:thumbsup2
2. Select a slider.:thumbsup2
3. Select date and text.:thumbsup2
4.What on earth do I do now????:scared1:

4. click create the ticker then out of the two codes copy the BB code

then go to USER CP

then EDIT SIGNATURE

then past the code into the box

preview it before you save it to make sure it is working

Make sure to put 2008 and not sure 08 when using the date feature. I just put 08 and it pulled up 1908.

As you can see I managed to get my ticker:worship: I was wondering if you know how to put the pictures of DVC home stickers on. eg. Old Key West so I can show where we belong.:flower3:

You betcha! Jimmy will be in Atlanta (my home town) while I am at the World (June 6). I'm hoping he will be in Florida in Nov. so I can have my Fall Florida trip AND my annual Buffett concert all rolled into one!!

You would probably have better luck getting an answer to this if you post it as a new thread so more people will see it. And the Community Board is the best place to post it. You can put the thread here and I can move it for you if that is easiest for you.

Also, have you checked out his website directly? That is probably where the most up to date information would be. I don't have the link but I am sure a Google search would bring it up.
