Hi ladies!
I don't know if this question was asked before, I am sure it was, but did anyone change one of the buffet menus and add elements from another buffet menu?? There are certain things that I like on each menu but I don't like any in their entirety.
I also want to cut out dessert at the reception (except the cake) since I am having a DP. I don't want to dessert my guests to death :rotfl: (although that might not be a bad way to die!)

Yes, you can change the items offered on the buffet. When we had our tasting session, we chose items from about 4 different menus. :thumbsup2

oh awesome!! They all have great items but the entire menus kind of suck..lol.
I am glad. I am going to my planning session June 9th and I want to take a look at the menus to see what I like and don't like.
Thanks!!!! You are always such a big help! :thumbsup2

I did the same thing. I'm having a dessert party after the reception so only wanted to serve cake at the reception. They cut it out of the buffet menu for me with no problem -- and it lowered the pp price!

I so far have changed many things on our menu, I removed all the seafood, dessert (other than cake) added a few things that weren't on there such as the potato bar. I haven't even had a planning session and my consultant has been so wonderful taking my ideas to the chef.

Oh so you don't have to stick to the buffet menus only? Is the mash potato bar considered an action station?? I am having my reception at the attic so all I can have is a buffet.

i am having buffet because that is what the location allows, but I did pull items off of the plated menus and added them to mine. I have no idea if its an action station, maybe someone else can answer that.

Oh ok cool. I have the buffet because thats all I can have too. Its great to know you can take any menu and create your own!
I am not 100% thrilled with having the reception at the Attic but for the amount of people its really the only place that makes sense. I know Whitehall is small and there are some other locations but the Attic seemed to be the way to go.

Have you seen the Attic in person yet? I thought it was gonna be too granny-like, but when we got to see it on our site visit, I fell in love.... it's light and airy and the floors are so shiny you can apply your lipstick in the reflection - now if that isn't a major selling point, I don't know what is :rotfl:

Actually I am going for the planning session in June so I will get to visit. Right now I am thinking granny like...LOL. I trust you though. If you fell in love with it I am sure its really beautiful. You have great taste!!! I adored every element in your wedding!!!
I am sure I will change my mind when I get to walk in and see everything. I have just always envisioned the whole ballroom thing. The attic is something different, which I do like, I just need to pull all of my decor together and then I will be fine. I really do want to play up the whole theme of the Attic. I am going with pink roses which seems like it will fit perfectly. I think it will be beautiful though. I can't wait to visit now!!!
