Castaway Club

I just called the Castaway Club 800# to request my packet, we sailed in Oct 01.

She told me that you do not receive a packet into after your SECOND cruise, after your second cruise you are a Castaway Club member and get a packet. I thought you were a Castway Club member after your FIRST cruise, maybe I'm thinking wrong!

She did say she would send me a packet anyway.

I'm getting ready to go on DCL trip #3 and have nothing from Castaway club but a # my travel agent got for me.
I know I've seen a toll free # for CC posted here. Anyone have it? I want to try calling.

We got our packet about a month or so after we returned from our first cruise, so either their policy has changed, or the person with whom you spoke was mistaken. The packet isn't much, it's having the membership number which is important to get the benefits. Nobody has ever asked to see our card.

I went to the Disney Cruise Line site and it says "once you've been our cruise Guest, you also become a Castaway Club guest."

I questioned if the policy had been changed and she said that was the way it had always been. I told her all the information I see says after the first cruise.

Oh well, at least my packet is on the way, hopefully.

I just wonder if that is why so many people don't get a packet till they call Castaway Club.
