Scrapbook Expo is coming up... July 11 and 12!!!:cool1:

They are having an all-day crop on Friday, July 11 (from 8:00 AM to 11:30 PM) and if you have a party of 6, you can reserve a table. It costs $40 per person for admission to the all-day crop (and that includes admission to the floor shopping area and two goodie bags). The cost to reserve a table is $20 (I think).

Would anyone be interested in getting a table?

ETA: OK, I don't think I'll be doing the all day crop b/c I just signed up for three workshops! I've gone to the Expo every year just to shop so this will be my first time doing any of the classes. Now if I can just save up some money for the shopping part!!!

I'm planning to go to shop! I've never done a crop before. Although the social part of a crop sounds appealing:grouphug: , I think it would be a lot of work to pack my scrapping stuff up and take it somewhere to work:dance3: .
But, I would love to meet DISers, if ya'll are gonna be there!:thumbsup2

First, LURV your ID and avatar!!! Dh and I are HUGE Dale fans!

Second, I won't be shopping (well I will a little) but I will have a boot there.

Which booth will be yours? I love going there every year to shop. I love to see all the new things and all the demos.

I'm so excited about the Expo. I'm new to Georgia - moved here from PA a couple of months ago and I don't know anyone yet. I'd love to meet some fellow Dis'ers!

Wendy, I will definitely check out your booth. Have you exhibited at the Expo before? What sort of products do you sell?

Where at in Duluth do you live? I live in Lilburn. What day are you planning to go to the crop.

I'm off Pleasant Hill Rd. just before the Hobby Lobby. I'll probably go on Friday - maybe Saturday too.

I might could join if we could get a full table. It's only 1 1/2 hours away to ATL.

Yes, I have exhibited for the last 3 years. Heritage Makers is a digital storybooking company.

I haven't ever stayed for a crop. I'd like to this year, however, I will also be having a HUGE family reunion that same weekend. So I'll do one day at the show and one day with the family.

I know the area. Depending on when everyone goes, maybe we can meet for lunch or something.

Angela ~ That sounds great! I'm pretty flexible, so pm me when you decide when to go and we'll make arrangements!

I'd be interested in meeting you guys for lunch or something. My sister and I grabbed a quick bite at the Chick fil A across the street from the Expo last year. Do vendors get a lunch break? My schedule is flexible, so if anyone has a set schedule (ie classes, or kids to get home to, or whatever) pick a time that works for you and we can plan accordingly.

I am good friends with the gal who owns the Camp Crop a Lot retreat house. The last weekend I was at the CCA house she gave them out to us! :cheer2:

Okay, I know it's still a month away but is everyone still interested in meeting? If so, could everyone post their schedule and that will make it easy to pick out a time. (something like, free both days or class 10-12 Fri but free that afternoon, or have to be home by such and such time, etc). I'll start:

Paulette: free both days (I'm going to shop!:moped: )

I'm going to shop, but don't know which day yet. I think I could be flexible. It might end up Saturday though.

I plan to go early on Friday and come home by late afternoon. I could go on Saturday, too if I have any money left by then!

I think I can make either work - any time. Pretty flexible for now but with new job changes coming MONDAY it could change. I'll know more soon but will work around whatever you guys decide.

Is it too late to join in?? I'm about 4 hours from Atlanta (we just moved earlier this year from MI and the MI convention was only about an hour away!!) but always like an excuse to scrapbook and buy stuff and meet people from the disboards!! Maybe I could talk DH into an over night trip! :woohoo: Currently I have Fridays off but I'm not sure....they keep talking about making me full time so I might be working on Friday. If that's the case, I would have to go early Saturday morning since we're having DS3's birthday part Saturday night. At the least, I'll have to catch up with you guys to see the latest and greatest and hear about what I missed!

I'm only going to be there Friday. I can meet for lunch. Since I'm working my booth, I don't have a lot of free time.

Ok, did anybody make it to the expo today? I ended up working at DD's camp at Church, so I couldn't make it. I plan on being there first thing tomorrow! Got paid today from the church and looking forward to going in the morning.

For the Diser who came by the Heritage Makers booth yesterday, I am sooo sorry I wasn't able to chat. I hate that. I was hoping to have a moment to talk with you but was in the middle of speaking with another client. I hope to meet up with you guys again some time.

It was fun. I didn't get to meet any dissers but I did enjoy walking around shopping and doing the make n takes. It wasn't very busy at all. Usually there are a long list of sold out classes but there were only a few this year. My BFF did a flip flop class and she said it was like a tornado went through they did it so fast.

Sorry Wendy, I didn't get a chance to stop at your booth. Maybe we can all meet another time.
