I too have purchased halfboard plus vouchers for my holiday next week. Way i see it I have paid for my food in advance or in some cases maybe even part paid! at best (like if I use them in the lucky nugget) i have saved myself 15% off the normal cost and at worst I have to pay a few pounds extra on top of the vouchers if what i want to eat isn't covered by the vouchers.
I think it's quite a nice reassurance that when you are there you basically already have money set aside for your food!:thumbsup2

If you pruchase the half board option, can you only eat in those restaurants specified or can you go into any restaurant and use one plus cash?

I think that most restaurants accept the vouchers plus cash to top up. Some places you can only choose from a limited menu but again you can top up to other choices by adding cash.
Im not sure how up to date the info on DLP magic is as according to the latest brochure there are now 3 options (half board, half board plus and half board premium) This brochure also lists the restaurants which is different to whats on DLP magic.
Weve never used this before but are seriously considering it for our summer trip - it means we can pay in £ instead of €

i also wanted to purchase either half board standard/plus option however because we r thinking of spending a day in paris and a day in shopping village outlet, dont know whether it will be worth it. what do u all think?another question is can i use 2 vouchers in a day (1 for lunch and 1 for dinner)? thus i can spend the vouchers that im not gonna use when im having days out in paris n village outlet iyswim. is this possible?

You can spend 2 vouchers in a day, doesn't matter if you use them for lunch or dinner. Only question is whether you want 2 big meals in a day I suppose. My DH would definitely say yes!

another question re half board option:
it says on thw web that u can upgrade your voucher to character dining by exchanging them at face value. what does this mean?does it mean i justpay on top of the voucher value e.g voucher value 17 pound, total meal 30 pounds so i just have to pay another 13 pound. is this correct?

I was also thinking about this. We will be staying four nights (one arriving around 8.00pm. and one leaving early afternoon), and one day will be spent in Paris. We will only be spending two full days in the parks. We are staying at Hotel Cheyenne and breakfast is included in our package.
I like the idea of our food being included in our package price, and not worrying about it after, but Im not sure it would be worth it for us.
I suppose we could eat dinner once we arrive, and lunch before we leave on our last day, but would we waste the credits whilst we are in Paris, or do you think we maybe could use them up.
