only 1 TS left for a 2TS ressie - what happens then?

can anyone explain what happens when there is only 1TS remaining on a DDP (and only 1 person/room) but you've got a 2TS credit booked for your last meal? Do they take the amount due and "half" it? Do you lose that single TS credit (if it's your last night)?

You would have to pay OOP for the 2TS meal. Best thing to do is watch your credits and pay for an 1TS to ensure you have 2TS left.

and, if there were a 2nd person in my room - both of us adults on the DDP, we could combine two single TS to pay for 1 person's meal at a 2TS signature restaurant, right? Am I understanding that correctly - you could bundle it with others in your room in the same age category?

Payment would be based on the number of TS credits (adult) left on your card. If you had 2 DP adults enjoy a meal at Narcoossee's and you only had 3TS credits on the card 2 would be taken as payment for one meal and you'd receive a bill for the other. You'd still have one TS credit left on the card.

Just figure which ADR 1 TS restaurant is the cheapest and pay oop for that restaurant.
This year we are paying for the Hoop De Doo and taking the 2 TS credits each and doing 2 more restaurants we added Coral Reef and San Angle Inn by paying OOP for the Hoop. And for the $59 cost for Hoop you get the App, Entree, Dessert and all the beer or wine included plus first catagory seating for the show and Tip and tax also included.

I am so glad I saw this thread and your response...last night I made/changed some ADRs and now we are two TS credits over for each of our adult meals ( there are 3 of us). I had planned on paying OOP for two of our TS meals, but now that you mention it, maybe I should consider paying OOP for the Luau (even though it is a 2TS) so that we can have cat 1 seating - on the DDP we could only choose from cat 2 or 3. (Do you, by any chance know if it is worth upgrading seating categories if it means sacrificing the TS credit and paying OOP?)Thanks again for the idea. ;)

I think that catagogy upgrade may be worth it if you are going to put the remaining TS to use like we did adding Coral Reef and San Angle. You can always do a TS breakfast on get away day like we do if you have time in the morning. Love Boma but this year on get away day we are going to Crystal Palace for breakfast haven't done that yet. If you were not going to use the all TS by paying OOP for the LUAU I would take Cat. 2 or 3 and use the up TS. Did the Luau 2 years ago and I think we had Cat. 1 but the way it is spread out there I don't think there would be much difference, maybe someone else could answer that better.
Also if there are 3 of you and 2 TS credits, you could use 2 TS for 2 of you and pay out of pocket for the other, you would just have to get separate checks the 2TS on one check and the OOP on another. We do that all the time when my Inlaws come over from Orlando, ME and DW have 1 check for the 2TS and the Inlaws have a check they pay OOP, never had a problem.

I also read a thread where the OP said it wasn't worth upgrading to a cat 1 b'c the location difference wasn't very!

if any of your ts's are for breakfast, you should pay oop for your entire party for that meal. they are easily the cheapest of all the table services. last trip, we did 2 of the 2 credit meals, so we booked a late breakfast at 1900. we were full until it was time to grab a cs for dinner that night.
