When we cruise in June, my daughter wants to buy a model of the ship and have the captain sign it. She was wondering how much does it cost so she could save enough money. I told her I would ask. Can anyone help on the price and when or how I can get the captain to sign it? Thanks

If I remember correctly, the ships model was $25.00 and one afternoon for 2 hours the Captain was available for autographs at the Treasure Ketch store. The day and time is listed in the navigators. I also had him sign a tee shirt.

Thanks LTGramps! I have a deal with my daughters whatever money they save from Christmas until the cruise I would match it. They, being young, always have to spend their money as soon as they get it. I thought this would teach them a good lesson. Ha, the joke is on me. They won't spend their money on anything. They are hording it all to make me pay out big in June. My youngest announced she has save over $100. She is so excited and reminds me of our deal. I will have to ask her for money on the cruise. :)

Im e-mailing this to DH as a hint that I would like one for Christmas to remind me of our Nov 30th cruise this year.

We too bought a ship and had the Captain sign it - go early to the signing. The line was very long on our cruise, and the Captain left promptly after the 2 hours - there were folks who didn't get their items signed. I would recommend at least 30 minutes early. This is a good photo op too - I have nice photos with both kids and the Captain.
