I'm going on the 3 day cruise and I have quite a few gifts I will need to get. WDW is never a problem .. I can always find cute things there for kids.
I will have to get things for boys and girls ... ranging in age from 4 to 15.
I also need to get a few adult gifs.
Just something small ... as a token.
I'm on a budget. Any ideas on what to be on the lookout for?
Deals you found?
Thanks

Look for a "clearance" merchandise set aside on a table. In July I was able to pick up the cutest notepads with Goofy, Donald, or Pluto dressed liked sailors, with the DCL logo - marked down to $1.00!! They were the perfect token gift - just a little something to say that we were thinking of someone while on our "trip of a lifetime"! I think I picked up 10 of them! Some of the pins are a nice token also - I particularly liked the one of Mickey at the ship's wheel. They were relatively inexpensive.
For non- Disney merchandise, the ladies on the beach in St. Maarten had some great buys! I picked up really pretty tropical totebags for $5.00 each!

I picked up a few blow up beach balls. They have nautical symbols as well as the characters in their ship gear (99 cents). The only thing is that 2 of them had slow leaks...but at least the recipients knew I was thinking of them!

The DCL Magnets, ($6.00) especially the picture frame ones. Have them with pictures of each of our cruises in them on the refrigerator. Also, the screen saver of DCL/islands ($10.00).

I collect refrigerator magnets from every place I go, and a deck of cards.

You know, for the younger kids, you could bring along something to get character signatures on. I saw one post where the (smart) mom brought white cotton pillowcases with colored fabric markers and asked guest services get them signed by the characters, then she just picked them up later. One was her thank you gift for the dog-sitter I believe. Maybe even personalize it with the recipients name in advance. Just don't over do it! I want them to still be allowing this practice when MY cruise finally arrives!!! : ) Good luck.

I may be using some of these ideas for stocking stuffers. We return from our cruise Dec 7th.

I bought a twenty four pack of crayons that had different disney character heads. This was ten dollars for the set. My nine year old son took them to school to share with his class, and the crayons were a big hit. The cost was .42 cents a piece...

Don't forget the Disney toiletries (shampoo, lotion) that they give you in your stateroom (FREE!). These would also make a cute gift or stocking stuffer.

Hey Medina's - that was me! The pillowcases came out great and the kid's who sat for our pets loved them. The only thing I would do is to take brighter markers. I got the neon color ones and the green and orange didn't come out too dark. I fixed that by drawing "clouds" around each name so they stood out better. One the back of the pillowcase I wrote:
"Dear (name),
From all your friends on the Disney Magic (date).
They loved them - in fact, the little boy who loves Capt. Hook won't sleep with anything else now.
