Max allowed in SSR 2 Bedroom

We're traveling with 11 family/friends in our party (7 adults & 4 kids). How many people will DVC allow to stay in a 2 BR @ SSR? Some could stay off-site, but then they wouldn't have the Extra Magic Hours (EMH), and we really wanted everyone to be able to stay together for the EMH.

Any feedback from someone who's gone through this in the past would be greatly appreciated.

Stated occupancy for an SSR two bedroom is 8 plus one child under the age of 3. For a party of your size, you'd need a Grand Villa.
