Looks interesting. Yoga, strength training, aerobics, even jogging! :lmao:
Supposedly it keeps up with your BMI each time you get on it... :confused3

If you get one please let us know the details. I have a hard time getting cozy with doing my training with a video game. I love the closeness to nature I get training outside and love the Gym atmosphere for my stretching, cals and weight training.

Ooh, me, me, me!!!! I've been waiting for it since January, I've got some Target GCs burning a hole in my pocket waiting for release day! I am too excited!
The jogging part reminds me of the old Power Pad!

I want to yes. :) I have to get a Wii first but I'm going to see if I can get one later next month. Then I can teach my daughter to play with me. HEHE I love Mariokart and Mario Party on those so this will be fun. I watched the video and definitely looks like a fun way to get exercise in. I hear the baseball and tennis are pretty good workouts too.

I pre-ordered mine on Amazon. I'm looking forward to it. A lot of people are ambivalent...working out on a video game? But I don't find it much different than working out to DVDs... Until the Fit comes out, I am content w/ my DDR workouts! :cool1:

he he, mine's at home back in the UK. It arrived two days before we flew out here to disneyworld. I have to say it's great. We've left my sister (who hates computer games) addicted to it already. Personally it's not quite what i expected, but not any worse for it. I love yoga and hula hooping oh and skiing. You guys will love it. It's not high intensity but great for a rest day etc. When's it out over here?

I haven't seen it -- will have to google it, but it sounds cool! My dd is dying for a Wii, so probably a Christmas gift this year -- so I may have to sneak a game in for me too.. LOL

The description on Walmart.com states:
BMI Check: BMI, or Body Mass Index, is a measure of body fat based on height and weight that is the standard used by agencies such as the World Health Organization and the National Institute of Health. To check your BMI, you'll enter your height then stand on the Wii Balance Board and let it read your weight.
Curious how accurate it weighs people???
Otherwise, if it gets people off the couch, than great:)

I believe you have to calibrate the balance board like you would a digital scale.
Carrie, most of the people we know that own a Wii (including us) are childless! :rotfl: You gotta get yourself one!
