So I saw on the Aquatica website that you can get in an hour early if you purchase your tickets on line:

Hour-Early Exclusive -- buy online and start your Aquatica fun an hour earlier than everyone else on the weekends

If I am reading their website correctly, do you get in at 8 am instead of 9 am on Saturday and Sunday? And is everything open that early?

Also, does anybody know if there is a AAA rate available for Aquatica tickets, and if so, is there a code? Many thanks!!!

I didn't see a AAA rate for tickets other than May 1-9 when they are $8 off.

I've heard Annual Passholders get in an hour early on weekends (meaning 9 am, tho--now that spring break is over, official opening is back to 10 am, as far as I know). Not surprised to hear they have extended that to online purchasers.

Oops, a little late, but for future reference, went to AQ yesterday.

Yes, people who purchase tickets on-line (and have a print-out) and APs get in an hour early--not that this is that much of an advantage! By 9 am yesterday--the "hour early" opening time--the line to get in stretched back to the parking lot. The park quickly got crowded, then got packed after 10.

BTW, the way they enforce this is simple--they don't open the ticket booths until 10 (maybe just before). So there was the huge line to get in the park at 9, then another line--not that big, but keep in mind, still had an hour wait ahead of them--to buy tickets.
