I have a question about the Sunset Safari. I know that is available to AKV concierge guests, but did i read somewhere that DVC members staying at AKV but not concierge can also purchase the safari? I would love to have us do this on our Summer 2009 trip to AKV.

That's exactly right-guests staying in any type of AKV accomodation can book it. I have it booked for next Saturday, May 3 (I'll be in a value studio), and I can't wait! It does cost $50 more for non-concierge guests, but as the CM who booked it for me said, it's very hard to book concierge unless you've got that 11 month window. It's offered 4 times a week-I think the nights were Monday, Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday. The phone # to call for information and reservations is 1-407-938-4755. I only booked it a few weeks ahead of time, but I have a feeling that since the Travel Channel showed it, it'll become much more popular.

How far ahead can you book it?I think you can book this 180 days in advance. The price is $160/adult (age 10+) for Concierge guests and $210/adult for non-Concierge. The kids' price is about half the adult price with a minimum age of eight to participate.
