odds of a grand villa

Hi guys I was wondering what are my odds os getting a grand villa at the 7 month window at old key west for mid sep. 2009

You could be running into the Food & Wine Festival at that time which would decrease your chances a lot.

the food/wine starts the end of Sept.

some school have off that middle week. but would think you might be fine.

with the free dinning at the WDW resorts - the DVC resorts are pretty empty in Sept.

give exactly dates if you can - so we are on the same page.

my choices are sept. 6-10 or sept.13-17 in 2009.

September is one of the slowest months and one of the best chances to get an OKW GV at 7 months. I think your chances are excellent. Good luck! Can't beat a GV!

Just a thought, you might have better luck w/ 2, 2 br villas. It would be less points than a GV & you get 4 br & 4baths instead of 3!

Actually, the 2-2 bedrooms would be more points (36/night for GV and 22/night for each 2 bedroom).

Given the choice of dates, I'd think you'd have better luck with the earlier week. That being said...both weeks are before the Food & Wine Fest usually starts.
