I recently was talking with my neighbor friend about our upcoming free dining trip. She said that last year when they ate CS on the DP that the CS credits were not differentiated between child and adult, so a couple times their family of 4 (two adults, two kids under 9) would order 2 or 3 adult CS meals and split them. That way they were able to save some CS for later on. I thought that for CS it was specific to child or adult? What's the story this year??

The last time we were there, April 2007, the CS credits were not divided by Adult and Child credits, however, if your card says... 2 Adults, 2 Children... you will only be allowed to purchase 2 of each on any one transaction.

You can order less than listed on the card, and split the meals between all of you... allowing you to save some credits for another time.

Now, it someone's trying to buy adult meals with child credits, that's frowned upon at Disney and here on the Dis board. That's cheating.

I'm not trying to cheat in any way, just wondering if the CS credits were differentiated between child and adult or if they were just all clumped into one group as CS credits.

Unfortunately this thread is closed because of the discussion regarding purchasing adult meals with child CS credits. Whether or not the posters are interested in actually circumventing the rules, setting forth the ways this rule MAY be circumvented is not permitted on the DISboards.

There will be marked on your key card the number of adults and children in your party. You should not be able to purchase more adult CS meals at one time than you have designated adults on your key card. If your card says 2 adults on your reservation, you can't buy 3 adult meals.
