I understand that there is a petrol station near the hotel which I think sells snacks and drinks. Is the Sante Fe far to walk from the Sequoia and is it quite easy to find the petrol station without sounding too thick!!:rotfl: I mean I wondered if they are lit up with big signs like our petrol stations are!!

The petrol station is lit up like ours Fiona :goodvibes .

I guess the easiest way from the Sequoia Lodge to the petrol station is along the main road between the 2?

Otherwise, I know you can get there by taking the riverside walk at the back of the Sequoia Lodge to the Santa Fe (they are next to each other). Then up the driveway between the blocks of rooms at the Santa Fe, past reception, keep walking up the hill for about a minute, and you're at the petrol station on your left. Its really not far at all that way, but as I say, maybe the main road would be quicker?

Your other option is to get the shuttle bus to Santa Fe - you should then we able to see the petrol station from where you get off the bus.

If you then want to walk from there to S Lodge go down the road between the blocks of rooms by the entrance and then stay on that side of the river and you'll soon see the lodges

Dont forget there is also a small supermarket inside the train station at the entrance to the parks.

Please note - the majority of biscuits from petrol station are highly addictive and you may need to make at least two trips a day :rolleyes1
