How many of you have been lucky enough to be at WDW when this is on, did you participate and what did you think about it?

We were there last year and while I thought it would be fun to experience due to being on the dining plan and feeling permanently full up we didn't try anything added to which the crowds were terrible in an evening but the Eat to the Beat concerts were fun.

We love the Food and Wine Festival.

It's great just wandering around sampling the food and drink from the various booths, but that's just a part of it.
There are many free seminars to attend and lots of (admitedly quite pricey) dining events available.

I like the atmosphere around World Showcase when the F&WF is on. There's also the Eat to the Beat concerts with people like The Beach Boys, Sheena Easton, David Cassidy, The Four Tops and The Village People.

DD and I had a lot of fun there last year. It gave us a reason for loitering in the World Showcase - our fave part of Epcot - and all the food/wine tasting was just our sort of thing! ;) We went to a couple of ticketed events in the World Showplace and I would definitely love to do the Party for the Senses with my DH sometime...

The only downside was the high attendance level but we just adjusted our pace accordingly and strolled around enjoying the sights/smells... :cloud9:

Oohh Kevin that sounds fun I like The Four Tops I''ll have to check who will be performing next year;)
Some of the food sounds good too, you can get small amounts to try so you don't get stuffed:thumbsup2

Thanks Joanne that's a helpful link.
Our DS will be just short of his 10th birthday when we go so I don't know what activities he'll be interested in then. But it sounds fun even if it's a little busy can't be any worse than last summer when it was absolutely packed, kept tripping over people in EPCOT then.
